On the 2nd of August a 10yr old girl sat wondering if she would make it to school as was the question every new school year. Clutching her 1st position report card with an average of 18.3, she is determined to do what it takes to get an education. But what can a 10 year old do? And why should they carry such a burden? You will soon find out. But first.
Did You Choose Where You Were Born?
Our 10 year Old didn’t choose either but unlike you, life didn’t deal her a very fair hand. As you will soon find out this isn’t a classic case of the poor dumping their problems on others.
Kendra is the daughter of a single father who is very hardworking. He does everything to meet her needs from taking out trash to cleaning services. But in the crisis stricken North West Region of Cameroon, hard work is useless without opportunities.
And Kendra’s future was slowly becoming collateral damage. Until her father saw our back to school project initiative. You can see their reactions here.
She is not alone as you saw from the video. Brilliant minds threatened by societal conditions they didn’t choose.

You will equally receive quarterly financial reports of the organization’s activities. We want you to know your money is well managed.
